the light shines from beneath my door
hidden from me forever-more
the light i’ve seen and even touched
once was true, it gained me much
the darkness floods and fills my life
it fills my world with pain, with strife
the darkness wins, the darkness rules
here on the earth, the darkness pools
it overflows, it kills, destroys
possession, lust, its bitter ploys
it rampant runs and lives possess
it makes a fucking awful mess
